Graduate Council works as advocates to ensure that all graduate students have a voice to the administration. We have multiple routes toward accomplishing our goal of fairly representing the needs of all grad students in the university.
- The Graduate Issues Committee
- The Student Perspective Series
- Student Advisory Boards
The Graduate Issues Committee collects information from grad students about on-campus issues, and works with the administration to improve student life.
Through Student Perspective Series we have the opportunity to bring important issues to the university Board of Trustees in working sessions.
Finally, as advocates for students we seek out and place divisional reps on advisory boards to develop relationships with administrators from diverse departments such as Student Health, Disabilities, Housing, and Transportation.
